Dr. Shafiq Rahman
Dr. Shafiq Rahman is a highly experienced UK-trained Plastic Surgeon with a wealth of expertise across both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He has worked in several of the UK’s most prestigious plastic surgery units and continues to serve as a practising NHS Consultant.
After completing his specialist plastic surgery training in Yorkshire, Dr. Rahman pursued advanced fellowships, including the Training Interface Group (TIG) Fellowship in Head and Neck Reconstruction and the CAPSCO Aesthetic Fellowship. These competitive programmes allowed him to refine his skills in complex reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, ensuring the highest level of care and precision for his patients.
Dr. Rahman holds a Master’s degree in Plastic Surgery (MSc, London) and maintains a strong academic portfolio with over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications. His contributions extend to authorship in major medical textbooks, including the world-renowned Gray’s Anatomy, and he has presented at international conferences around the globe. His work has been recognised with a nomination for the William’s Prize by the Society of Academic and Research Surgery (2017).
